About the role:

As a Sr. AP Accountant, you are generally responsible for reviewing, recording, getting the required approvals according to company policy and process all the corporate invoices received for payment. Your duties will also include managing payments of all company's creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner in addition to preparing the required reports related to your area of responsibility.

Major Accountabilities:

•          Review suppliers’ invoices “Three-way matches “(Purchases order, suppliers’ invoices, Delivery note) and issue suppliers’ cheques or any method of payments.
•          Follow up with the suppliers advanced payment and Suppliers Aging.
•          Review and prepare (Form 41) and Value add tax on purchasing With the holding tax   according to Tax law and uploading these data on the Tax portal.
•          Following up on the electronic suppliers’ invoices on the tax portal.
•          Purchasing Tax Inspection analysis.
•          Responsible for the company's procurement documents.
•          Monthly and yearly suppliers’ confirmation. 
•          Responsible for Suppliers documents (Tax card, Commercial register and Tax allowance certificate).
•          Suppliers Reports and analysis, matching the submodule balances with the GL.
• Effective time management of reporting and office work activities.   

Ideal Background:

Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree a business-related discipline such as commerce, economics. combined with minimum of 4:6 years of experience in related field (corporate experience preferable).

Languages: English, Arabic

Other qualifications include:

•          Bachelor’s degree of Commerce.
•          4 to 6 years’ experience in related fields.
•          Excellent knowledge of MS Office specially Ms. Excel.
•          Ability to multi-task and carry out multiple responsibilities
•          Banking / Fintech background or strong knowledge of the banking & financial sectors is an advantage.
•          Highly collaborative with a can-do attitude.
•       Proven ability in working under high pressure, target-oriented with a successful track record.
•       Knowledge with OKRs and how to achieve results within a specific budget.
