Senior GL Accountant - Al-Futtaim

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures an accurate & timely month, quarter & year-end closing providing all necessary regular & irregular analysis.
• Prepares monthly management reports.
• Ensures a clean & timely year-end audit and assists with financial audits, prepares audit schedules and interface with auditors.
• Responsible to prepare and distribute timely, accurate financial statement and all Analytical reports related and non-related to the financial statements
• Ensures reconciliation of inter-company accounts and rectification of reconciling items.
• Ensures that all the financial transactions are properly accounted in the General Ledger and in the correct cost and profit centres.
• Handles intercompany cost allocations.
• Prepares Cash reports.
• Maintains accurate revenue and cost recognition databases.
• Ensures all month-end entries are passed in the system like pre-payments, accruals etc.
• Handles intercompany cost allocations.
• Prepares CAPEX reports.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or any relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experince in GL in any real-estate or related businesses.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards and IFRS.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Applications.
• Exposure to SAP or any related ERP is preferred.
• CMA Certification is an asset.
