Chief Accountant - Al-Futtaim

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures an accurate & timely month, quarter & year-end closing providing all necessary regular & irregular analysis.
• Maintains the Chart of Accounts; ensures adequate and proper classification among accounts’ groups.
• Manages and oversees the daily operations of the AR department.
• Monitors and analyses accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Develops and documents business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
• Ensures all month-end entries are passed in the system like pre-payment, accruals etc.
• Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifictaions

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or any related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in the recievables acumen in real-estate.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards and IFRS.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Applications, Spread Sheets, Database Management.
• Exposure to SAP and Yardi is an asset.
