What You’ll Achieve

As an Inside Sale Specialist, you will deliver Vmware product and operational support such as solution proposals, quotations, maintaining Vmware opportunities in SFDC, guidance on routes to market, deal registrations to the outside Sales Teams that address customers’ requirements.

You Will

• Understand the Dell Technologies and Vmware joint portfolio of solutions and explain how these solutions will benefit the overall business of the customer
• Provide expert guidance and direction to the core Sales team by utilizing strategic probing to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative Vmware solutions
• Work with the outside sales teams in support of the execution of sales campaigns.

Essential Requirements

Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:

• An understanding of IT technology products and services, specifically experience with software products and software licensing schemas.
• Experience working with and/or selling Vmware or other software such as SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, Red Hat, etc… could be beneficial.
• Software operations and order management background will also be a plus.
• Good analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, and solid customer relationship skills

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in software business – such as sales support, existing inside sales experience, and/or order management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
