Accountant - RATP Dev Middle East

JOB PURPOSE:

You will be responsible for establishing financial statements, oversee the finance aspects of the plan and the business. Responsible for closing accounts, finance reports and supporting the stakeholders in decision making

Responsibilities/Duties

Prepare daily accounting records and Journal entries.Review and processing expense invoices.Review and validate revenue invoices.Coordinate with all stakeholders to make sure that all receivables are collected.Assist in preparing financial reports and Statements (Budgets, Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet)Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as neededUpdate financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when neededAssist Chief Accountant in the preparation of monthly/yearly closingsOther duties and responsibilities might be assigned

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Commerce in AccountingExcellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic

KNOWLEDGE:

Competency in Microsoft applications, Word, Excel and PowerPoint (specially Excel) is a must.Strong communication, presentation, teamwork skills and leadership skills.Excellent organization, analytical, detailed oriented and planning skillsSuperior mathematical skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlineStrong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accuratelyGood problem-solving skillsManagement skillsPossess analytical and critical abilityNegotiation and decision-making ability

EXPERIENCE:

0-2 years of relevant work experience within multinational environment.Experience with statutory financial requirements and Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS).
