Abnaa Sinai For Construction is hiring Quantity Surveying Engineers Job Location: Cairo Head-Office Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture - Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in all phases of major engineering design and construction contracts with at least 3 years experience in quantity surveying activities - Knowledge of standard forms of contract and general principles of measurement operating in the Middle East - Practical and logical qualities and a methodical way of thinking - A creative and innovative approach to problem- solving. - Detailed knowledge of past and current building and construction technology, business and legal matters - Advanced Excel, Word & Power Point - Comprehensive knowledge of QS Software - Ability to be self directed and manage multiple projects - Oral and graphical communication skill require for internal meetings and client discussions - Excellent listening and interpersonal skills - Willingness to travel on site visits - Oral and graphical communication skill require for internal meetings and client discussions - Should have the ability to work as part of a team, have a high degree of accuracy, be attentive to detail, clear, and have a proven ability in establishing relationships quickly in a variety of settings both internal and external - Analytical skills and Ability to Negotiate are essential Scope of Work: - To study the project contract documents for cost, time and contractual issues and to become familiar with the project - Reviews the constructed quantities in site - Assesses the contractor claims - Prepares necessary correspondence in respect of financial issues after consultation with the Construction Manager/Resident Engineer - Studies the financial impact of prospective change orders prior to their initiation - Reports to Construction Manager/Resident Engineer on changes in Contract Price resulting from change orders and actual executed quantities - Review, monitor and advise the CM/RE on all requests for additional payment including re-measurement, variations and claims submitted by the contractor - Evaluate materials on site for the purpose of the payment certificate - Assist CM/RE in preparing the monthly progress report About Us: Abnaa Sinai is an engineering construction company classified as a first-class contractor and currently working on large-scale projects such as Rebuilding Gaza Strip, Development of Saint Catherine, Rafah's and El-Dabaa NPP
