Senior Construction Accountant

Job Description

o Directly supports the finance department by completing various accounting functions and ensuring necessary transactions/data is collected and processed in a timely and efficient manner.
o Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
o Petty cash settlement
o Issue bank checks
o Confirm balances of contractors and suppliers at the end of each year.
o Completing purchase orders
o Completing bank reconciliations
o Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies
o Verifying bank deposits
o Managing day-to-day transactions
o Treasury

Qualifications

o 4-8 years’ experience in accounting with construction experience
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting
o Proficient at an intermediate level with MS Excel.
o Strong accounting skills and oral/written communication
o Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
o Must be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
o Dependable, self-starter and motivated.
o Must be personable, work well with others and embrace a service-oriented attitude

Skills Requirments
