Qsource is hiring Network Engineer for an international Automotive Company located in Giza.
Requirements:
– From 3 to 4 years of experience.
– Certified CCNA
Job Description:
•Supports the College network infrastructure by designing, installing, updating, debugging, and configuring the network devices and related components
•Monitors the College’s network and server infrastructure for security-related threats and implements configurations and procedures to protect the College’s data resources.
• configuration and maintenance of security devices such as firewalls and intrusion detection and protection systems.
• Design, configures, installs, tests, and maintains network and server hardware and software for the College while providing detailed documentation on procedures.
• Monitor, maintain and administer the College’s Windows and Linux systems. Including but not limited to: kernel management, driver/configurations management, creation/deletion of users and groups, resetting passwords, creating/deleting print queues, perform backup and restore tests.
• Performs the duties of a Storage Area Network administrator by designing, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting the College’s storage infrastructure
• Supports the College’s telecommunication infrastructure by designing, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting the network-based IP phone system.
• Analyzes technical requirements, designs program structure, writes code, prepares documentation, tests, and implements software applications for system maintenance and automation.
• Pursues professional development opportunities to advance knowledge and expertise in the area of system administration and network management. Remain current in market trends/practices (e.g., methodology, tools, technical specifications, and other developments)
• establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external constituencies to promote the success of established short- and long-term objectives and goals.
• Serve on college and departmental committees related to computing and/or related ITS objectives
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Network and Computing services related to ITS goals and the mission of the college.
