Purpose of the Job:
As BRANTU’s Accounting Executive, you will be a key contributor in the budgeting, reporting, forecasting & planning department which is critical to the organization’s overall financial performance. Financial performance reporting, forecasting and analysis of all BRANTU business units and cost centers are an integral part of your ownership.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in year-end financial closing
- Finalize quarterly and semiannual reports for auditing purposes
- Prepare VAT reports for tax filling purposes
- Lead month end closing on Quickbooks
- Prepare WHT reports for submission
- Report to the Director of Finance monthly financial results of the company & the performance of key revenue segments
- Present actual Vs budget reports on a monthly basis
- Liaise with other vendors to obtain balance confirmation for all BS accounts
- Participate in monthly meetings with the finance team to reflect on key financial highlights
- Prepare financial reports for investors
- Checking late payments, accounts and sending reminders
- Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned
About You:

- A Bachelor’s Degree holder in Finance
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounting across multiple accounting segments (Eg, AP/AR/Tax Accounting..)
- Previous work experience in E-commerce and/or Retail industries is a must
- Knowledge and business use of accounting ERP systems is a must, Quickbooks is a plus
- Highly proficient technical skills with the ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative information
- Excellent numeracy skills with an attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of MS office
