Networking Engineer, B.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering or Computer Science with minimum two years of experience and has a very good experience in:
• Routing protocols such as BGP & OSPF.
• Switching techniques and protocols.
• Cisco certificate CCNA Routing & Switching is a plus.
• Programming skill using Perl or Python
Will be responsible for:
– Internet exchange point (IXP) routing.
– IPv6 BGP peering with local ISPs.
– Deploying & testing for dynamic routing protocols using IPv6.
– Manage and Maintain Caix.net.eg website using APACHE, MySQL
– Administrate CACTI and dashboard server.
– Prepare traffic report for the IXP (weekly/monthly/yearly)
Competencies:
▪ Initiative self-motivated and team builder.
▪ Highly communications and interpersonal skills.
▪ Good knowledge of IP networking (Routing & Switching protocols specially BGP).
▪ Good knowledge of Linux, MySQL, APACHE.
▪ Very good command in English and fluent in Arabic.
