We are looking for Position: Manager Accounts and Finance to achieve our company's financial objectives.
 
To be successful in this role:
You should have proven 7-10 years of relevant work experience in the Branchless Banking environment. Our ideal candidates combine excellent accounts and financial skills with a strategic mindset. Candidates must be able to work on developing/implementing the financial modules/core system.
 
Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day accounting functions and keeping up to date financial records aligned with IFRS and IAS
- Ensure all financial controls are implemented and the physical record is kept consistently precise.
- Improve financial policies and procedures that ensure all processes and operations are working efficiently in a Branchless Banking environment.
- Manage account receivables and ensure settlements with partner banks are accurate and reconciled with transactional data of the core application
- Manage payables that include reconciliation of itemized agents accounts with their respective transactional data duly validated by the partner banks. 
- Ensure accurate and timely disbursements are made as per commitments with agents
- Monthly WHT and provincial Sales Tax compliances by relevant staff
- Coordinate with the software development team in designing, development, and subsequent implementation of custom-built Accounting and Financial Management module integrated with partner Banks
- Manage finance team to ensure all major and ancillary financial functions are properly working especially upon ERP implementation.
- Prepare financial reports, final accounts, and annual audit pack when due or requested.
- Assist HR on hiring Finance Team within tight deadlines and budgets
- Provide continuous support to other functional departments, to achieve major milestones within planned KPIs.
- Support Head of Finance and CEO on any other task deemed necessary.

Skill Requirements:
- The ideal candidate is having at least 7-10 years of experience in a Branchless Banking environment.
- Whereas preference will be given to those who have been part of developing/implementing the financial modules/core systems
