Consumer Sales Engineer - Egypt
Degree qualified with a minimum of 5-8 years business development experience within the automotive sector with direct exposure in Egypt market, you will have experience working in a fast paced, matrix & multinational environment and able to demonstrate a track record of success. Highly commercial and able to foster long- term collaborative relationships with both our distributor and customers, you will thrive within a multicultural matrix environment working across diverse markets. Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory.
Commercially focused with proven sales ability
Excellent negotiation skills across all levels
Exposure to sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies
Able to travel frequently as appropriate.
Main Responsibilities And Key Activities
Develop presence in the market
Work in collaboration with the partner’s sales teams’ to analyze and report market dynamics
Present information about market dynamics to the business and support the business development process at a key account level
New Business development
Independently pursue sales leads, explore new opportunities where the ROI is positive for both Bridgestone and our partners
Visit existing and new customers, assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business
Present new business opportunities and information on competitor activity to the sales team
Minimize sales losses
Respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner
Identify and address challenges, propose solutions to the relevant people in the organization to avoid loss of sales
Research and Reporting
Research and provide information on competitors’ products and positioning
Understand and effectively convey market information (e.g. new products, campaigns, offers etc.)
Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans to achieve targets
Conduct quarterly OEM surveys including communication of new potential sizes in the market
