Shehabco for electrical and electronics is seeking to hire Firefighting technical office engineer with the following specifications:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review Design for the firefighting systems such as Water Sprinkler System, Foam Systems, Water-Foam Sprinkler Systems, Gases Systems such as CO2, FM-200, INERGEN & NOVEC Systems.

• Prepare & develop project calculations, material list & drawings in order to ensure the correct products and materials are installed throughout the in-hand projects in compliance with the appropriate engineering standards, codes, specifications.

• Conduct MTO.

• Coordinate with Projects Dep. to conduct site visits to collect all required information to prepare the flow calculations and drawings.

• Study the approved technical proposals during tender stage compared to the site actual conditions.

• Prepare technical material submittals

• Attend progress meetings, discuss and suggest technical proposals.

• Managing the cost analysis and cost control of site activities.

• Follow-up with subcontractors during negotiations and offer award or subcontract terms, performance and payments.

• Provide technical support for project managers.

Job Requirements

• Have experience (3-5 Y) in firefighting and fire alarm systems as a technical office engineer.

• Good command with local and international fire codes such as NFPA, FM Global … etc.
