The Account Managers are at the core of Careem Express. They are client facing and we rely on them to provide an amazing merchant experience by building strong relationship, being closely connected with merchants and using data insights to add value. They are responsible for growing demand in a sustainable way.
About the role
Achieve monthly GMV targets through a mix of new merchant signups and increasing share of business with existing accounts
Developing strong relationship with senior stakeholders
Pricing understanding and negotiating best prices with merchants
Work closely with operations / logistics team internally & make sure the client requirements are serviced and strike the right balance between operational feasibility, delivery cost and client experience
Manage day-day business and operational relationship with merchant partners at operational staff level and increase share of business / get exclusivity on delivery partnership
3-5 years of sales & account management experience (preferably from eCommerce or Hyperlocal commerce background)
High performer – has worked in roles that generate revenue for the business
Business development mindset coupled with Operational detail orientation
Energetic and excited about joining a startup environment.
Preferably from Food Delivery or eCommerce background
