Statutory and Tax Specialist

Currently we have the opportunity for a dynamic Statutory and Tax Specialist to join our team and to be based in Cairo, Egypt.

General: Proactively work with other accounting teams for early preparation and enhancement of accounts analysis. Support improvement of the filing for the accounting documentation. Maintain a clear process for obtaining tax exemption certificates on timely basis.

Tax audits: Independently prepare analysis for different accounts for tax audit purposes. Obtain required documentation for various tax audits. Complete well-ordered soft and hard files as per the request of tax auditors.

Tax filling and reconciliation: Prepare different tax returns (CIT, VAT, payroll, WHT and stamp tax). Reconcile tax accounts on the ERP (SAP) Vs different tax returns/declarations. Support in preparation of different tax provisions and recording it in Hyperion tool.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

4-6 years of experience in taxation and accounts reconciliations.

Extensive knowledge with SAP ERP.

Good knowledge of accounting, EAS and IFRS,

Multitask with willingness to improve and rotate.

Ability to work under pressure.

Ability to break down issues into their essentials.
