Automation Team Leader

Job Description

Has the ability to control the complex Pneumatic and the hydraulic systems.

Assess project requirements and system specifications based on international standards, industrial requirement and regulations.

Develop manufacturing drawings and Bill of Material.

Select the components required to execute the design.

Develop and test design models with the use of software programs to assess feasibility.

Issue the design project document and write the project’s activities and user manual.

Assist in the development and to apply test plans.

Integrate the system and perform initial and field tests.

Participate in product assembly.

Attend coordination/ kick-off meetings as necessary.

Investigate the cause of equipment and system failures and fix them.

Recommend design modifications to ensure there will be no malfunctions in the system or in the machine.

Perform other tasks as required.

Technical Skills

- Industrial Automation System especially Europe systems (SIEMENS, BECKHOFF, B&R, and Mitsubishi )

- PLC programming using C, Function Block, Instruction text, Statement list

- SCADA & Embedded system expert

- AS-I interface, ProfiBus, and ProfiNet.

- Serial, Analog, and Lean module.

- HMI programming

- C# programming (serial port programming).

- Microcontrollers

- Interfacing

Education

B.Sc. of Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical or Electrical
